A fictional narrative of the tragic death of Abigail, the deformed child.

Recovering the unspeakable and conversation subject that are taboo makes it hard to unearth the truth of a tragic event. Evidence of the living past long buried with time or destroyed for fear of conversation that may spark interest. Memoirs to respect the past exists only at the pigment of imagination and nothing goes beyond reality.

However, one that does not exist living in this world doesn't close all doors for conversation. The presence of the deceased (ghost) in current spaces can be seen as traces of history, a form of communication between the living and the dead.

The story of Abigail, deformed child is the daughter of Jonas Mekas, an American filmmaker, poet and artist was never spoken to anyone. Jonas has a reputable career and is seen as a renowned filmmaker and the godfather of american avant-garde cinema. Amidst the fame and glory, he has a dark secret that was well kept in his chamber museum which nobody knew.

Jonas was ashamed by her deformed daughter whose features was far beyond what he expected. Ashamed of this, he kept her existence away from the knowledge of the public.

Nobody knew Abigail's real age, not even her story of what went through her daily life that eventually preceded to her innocent soul taken away unwillingly.

However, reports of Abigail's ghost presence has rendered the victim to speak her past. Her ghost was a stand in for traces of atrocities crafted by her father. Visitors to the current place has reported hearing vague sounds of a child. Some heard faint cries as they walk through the halls, while others reported to have heard the sound of a child choking.

The facade remain unchanged since the beginning of time.

The house has a few rooms, some are hidden ones.

The basement had brick walls and thick iron as a fence. Nobody knew what goes behind the walls in the early days.

Jonas Mekas was a dog lover, he had four ferocious dogs guarding the house. Upon building the house, Jonas paid tribute to his dogs by carving each of them at the front of the house.

Rumour has it that in one evening in 1975, Jonas was seen carrying a small wooden casket and buried it at the cemetery nearby his place. When onlookers questioned, he said one of his dogs died. Contrary to his love for all his dogs, he was not sadden by the loss nor did he place a proper burial tombstone for the allegedly dead 'dog'.

The death of Abigail was no doubt a tragic one. Her story is still being documented till this very day, her unnatural presence is the only traces of her sadden narrative.
